Creative Reminiscence collection for care homes, day centres and lunch clubs
About Caroline Twist...
I am a creative lady with a  passion for hearing peoples stories and drinking tea!

I have eleven years experience of running reminiscence sessions and training in Sheffield care homes. During this time I have been engaged in a number of collaborative projects with Sheffield University, Sheffield Hallam University plus various artists, museums and galleries.

I love to be creative and helping others to join in with me. I have had several exhibitions promoting a creative approach to dementia care
(recently 'Beauty in the little things' in June 2015 at Eten Cafe, Sheffield, and 'What I might have said' in October 2015 at the White Collar Gallery, Leeds).

Having been awarded a Winston Churchill Fellowship I travelled for two months in 2015 across Europe and South America researching artist's engagement with lifestory work in care home settings.
'Storytelling with a Twist' was born out of this special project and I am very excited to be able to offer reminiscence workshops to the people of Sheffield and South Yorkshire.

In January 2017 I opened a Creative Reminiscence Resource Library at Montgomery Theatre, in the Heart of Sheffield City Centre.

I believe laughter is the best form of medicine, and have a mission to bring fun, social interaction, and creativity to the heart of care homes.
